“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” ~Aristotle

Welcome to Athenian Academy Charter School

home of the Olympians!

We hope you will take time to explore our new website as we continually strive to provide useful information to our school community.

Athenian Academy is a K-8 school rich in tradition and family values.  Students learn Greek and Spanish daily beginning in kindergarten and our middle school students have the opportunity to earn multiple high school credits in both foreign languages. We are committed to providing a dynamic, passionate and challenging learning environment where every child feels valued, loved and nurtured. If you are looking for a school for your child, we invite you to take a tour and experience the difference. If you are currently a parent or guardian at our school, we thank you for sharing your child with us and encourage you to get involved. A strong partnership with home and school is essential for success. I look forward to working with each of you this school year! I have an open door policy, and I welcome your questions or concerns at any time.  If for some reason I am not immediately available, one of our administrators will be happy to help or you may leave a message with the front office and I will return your call.  Your child’s education, safety and happiness are our top priority!

At Athenian Academy, every child is important! We care about kids!

My family is on our third year here. I am very happy with this school. My son is happy and learning . When I have had concerns/problems they have been addressed and handled promptly. I feel the staff really care about the students. If you are lucky enough to have Mrs.Edge you are in for a fantastic year. So many wonderful teachers. I am proud to be part of this Athenian.

I love this school. Had one graduate in 2013 as valedictorian and now have three more starting there. Cannot say enough good things about the school.and it's staff.

We believe that learning should be fun! In order to create an environment in which cooperative learning can take place, three things are necessary. First, students need to feel safe, but also challenged. Second, groups need to be small enough that everyone can contribute. Third, the task students work together on must be clearly defined.
